Irakli Kobakhidze: the Parliament will share the messages provided in the Christmas Epistle of the Catholic-Patriarch of All Georgia

The messages in the Christmas Epistle will be shared and considered during our activity”, - the Speaker stated after the Christmas Liturgy he was attending along with MPs in Holy Trinity Cathedral. 

Prior to the mess, the audience heard the Christmas Epistle of the Catholic-Patriarch, Ilia II, providing importance of the greatest Christian celebration - Christmas, the role of the Church, world developments and demographic situation and drug policy in the country.

After the mess, the Speaker wished Georgian population a merry Christmas. “Let me wish all of you, the whole country merry Christmas. Let the Christ put the blessing you all us and our families”.

The messages in the Christmas Epistle will be shared by the Parliament, he stated. “We will emphasize the important issues provided in the Epistle, including the issues the Parliament works on. And these messages of the Epistle are particularly noteworthy for us, including the issues of demography and drug policy. We actively work on these issues and these messages are noteworthy and will be shared”.

The mess was also attended by the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Government members.
