On behalf of the Parliament of Georgia, I extend our sympathies to the families of those killed and injured in the terrorist attack in the Kizilay District of Ankara yesterday. According to the latest information, this senseless act has claimed the lives of more than 30 people. We also wish fast and full recovery for those injured in this brutal act of terror.
This shocking incident reaffirms the necessity for the international community to unite against violence. We need to stand together and actively coordinate our efforts to defeat this global scourge of terrorism.
In these difficult moments, we express our solidarity and support to the friendly Turkish people, the government of Turkey and our colleagues in the Grand National Assembly.
