Political career and work experience

Since November 2019 Giorgi Kakhiani has served as the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament.
2016-2019 - Procedural Issues and Rules Committee, Chairman;
2013-2016 - Member of Parliament, Chairman of the Procedural Issues and Rules Committee, Member of the Legal Issues Committee, Member of the State Constitutional Commission.
2005-2007 - Constitutional Court of Georgia (Department of Legal Provision), Chief Adviser;
1999-2003 - Supreme Court of Georgia, Judicial Assistant;

 Education and Academic Achievements

Giorgi Kakhiani holds the Ph.D. degree in law;

Since 2011, he has been an Associate Professor at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He is involved in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs at the Law Faculty

Giorgi Kakhiani was born on December 10, 1973 in Tbilisi. He is married, has a wife and three children.
