“Based on the political discussions, we will agree on the date of the Committee sitting and voting of the candidates. Hence, within this week we will make the decision and inform the society”, - the Chair of the Legal Issues Committee, Anri Okhanashvili stated.
According to him, the position of the team is to abstain from convening the Committee sitting this week but to dedicate the week to the discussion and exchange of the opinions.
“We will hear the NGOs, as well as we will consult with the Public Defender, political party members within the Committee and the non-Faction MPs”, - A. Okhanashvili noted.
At the meeting, it was underlined that everyone hails the high standard of the process of interviewing of the candidates with the greatest merit of NGOs.
“It was the high standard and the merit of our team but naturally, NGOs have also contributed a lot in this process”, - the Chair added.
