The Legal Issues Committee discussed the bill on State Inspector Service

The Committee discussed the bill on State Inspector Service with the II reading and accelerated consideration.

The bill extends the effective date of the law as November 1, 2019 instead of July 1, 2019. Some technical remarks have been expressed.

According to the Chair, Anri Okhanashvili, the working meeting will be held to facilitate full-fledged enactment of this institution. “Naturally, it is a priority and the main task and so, our Committee will ensure oversight of the process and in July, we may hold a working meeting attended by every party responsible for certain steps. We need to hear a certain action plan. We will ensure allocation of sums before the mid July for maintenance works in the infrastructure, to provide respective equipment as well. Yesterday, the Committee invited the Deputy Finance Minister to hear the plan and we will keep overseeing this process”.

The Committee approved the bill initiated by Anri Okhanashvili, David Matikashvili, Rati Ionatamishvili, Mamuka Mdinaradze, Vano Zardiasvhili and Goga Gulordava.
