The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Sophio Katsarava participated in the session “20 Deliverables for Resilience – Making the Partners Stronger” within the International Conference in Batumi.
The attendees estimated the achievements, challenges and future plans within EaP initiative. S. Katsarava emphasized importance of EaP as an effective and progressive political initiative having and increasing impact on the future agenda of the member states.
She underlined importance of sustainability and security and strategic communication.
“Practical integration to EU is paramount for us. After 10 years of Eastern Partnership, we witness our progress and now, it is important for Georgia and EU to share the vision about European future of our country. Despite the problems and impediments, we shall know about the novelties to expect for 2020 of how EU can improve sustainability of Georgia, consistent approaches and future visions”, - she noted.
