The meeting was as well attended by the Head of the NATO Liaison Office, Rosaria Puglisi.
The parties discussed NATO-Georgia agenda and future cooperation plans, as well as hybrid threats and effective use of Parliamentary oversight functions in foreign policy.
The parties emphasized importance of strategic communication on EU and NATO integration path.
S. Katsarava introduced the information about the reforms aiming at strategic communication.
The parties touched upon the Strategic Communication Forum scheduled on September 24 in the Georgian Parliament to be organized by the Foreign Relations Committee.
“Effective use of strategic communications is vital for achievement of foreign political tasks of the country as we discussed at the meeting today. NATO and our international partners hold vast experience and capacity in this direction and our task is to share their best practice. We agreed to enhance cooperation in terms of strategic communication”, - S. Katsarava noted.
