| Donor Coordination Meetings |
|
In order to avoid overlap of the donor activities and facilitate robust coordination, the Parliament organizes donor coordination meetings on regular basis. The meetings are chaired by the Speaker-Appointed Coordinator for International Donor Projects and attended by the representatives of all running donor projects. The meetings serve as the forum for an exchange of information among the donors themselves and between the donors and the Parliament. As a rule, donor projects brief the Parliament on their performed activities and discuss raised questions and challenges as well as the on-going developments in the Legislative Branch. As well as that, the donors frequently make presentations of various activities undertaken by their relevant project. The new parliamentary project proposals also become a topic on the agenda.
