Today, the meeting held in "Tbilisi Marriot” Hotel was dedicated to equal participation of women in political organizations and all governmental levels. The meeting was held with the initiative of the NDI and Rusudan Kervalishvili, was participated by the representatives of eleven political parties, which signed the global action plan "To win with women” on the conference in April, 2010.

The parties discussed the advantages of the new legislative amendment, implemented in the December, 2011. Namely, the amendment to the Organic Law "On Political Unions of Citizens”, which envisages the additional 10% of financing to the electoral subjects, which will include at least 20% of female representatives to the municipal election list.
