The sitting of the Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules considered the statement by the initiative group of the citizens on exercising the right to introduce the initiative of not less than 30 000 voters on changes to the law on Higher Education.

“The statement by the initiative group and the attached material are introduced with observance of the requirements of the paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Article 177 of the Rules of Procedure”, - the Chairperson of the Committee, Irine Imerlishvili stated. Correspondingly, the Committee unanimously considered it expedient to register the initiative group. The registration certificate and the sample of the form (sheet) for signatures of supporters, established by the Committee, have been delivered to the group.
