The Commission heard the information by Shota MALASHKHIA about the activity of the Commission, implemented under the previous Parliament. He in details spoke about the projects, implemented during 8 years and introduced his own views about the future activity of the Commission.

The current Chair of the Commission, Gia VOLSKI supposes that Shota MALASHKHIA has the smart approach in terms of international law, though he noted that “as to conflict resolution political strategy, deriving from the current situation, due to the approaches, formed during the National Movement reign, the Commission took the confrontation course in terms of Russia, which was categorically not recommended by international experts and EU. The Commission aggravated tension instead of speaking of strategy, which would lead us to conflict resolution. In our opinion, the Commission shall attempt to lead us to peaceful processes and negotiations and all in all, to conflict resolution”, - he stated.
The Commission members and the representatives of NGOs, invited to the sitting, asked their questions to Mr. MALASHKHIA. The next sitting of the Commission is scheduled to be held in March.
