The Ministry of Environmental Protection regains the function of natural resource management and correspondingly it shall be renamed.

Due to necessity to reorganize the Ministry, the change shall be introduced to the Law “On Structure, Authority and Activity Rule of the Government of Georgia”, also to the draft laws: “On Change to the Law On Public Health”; “On Change to the Law On Soil Conservation and Restoration-Improvement of Fertility”, “On Change to the Law On Water”, “On Change to the Law On Bosom”. According to the Deputy-Minister of Environmental Protection, Shalva AMIREJIBI, the draft law aims to reflect the changes, according to which, the Ministry will be renamed and converted into the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
