The Committee on Legal Issues considered with the second reading the draft law by MP, Koba DAVITASHVILI, “On Change to the Criminal Code of Georgia”. The issue concerns forcing the person to write the statement about resignation on his/her own, which is subject to punishment with penalty or imprisonment of 2 years.

The Committee considered with the second reading the draft law “On Change to the Organic Law On General Courts”. According to the Chair of the Committee, Vakhtang KHMALADZE, after consideration of the draft with the first reading, no essential changes have been made thereto, the date of enactment and the word “upon promulgation” just were changed with “since March 1”.
The issues will be considered at the plenary session.
