Right to implement youth projects shall be granted to any organization under the legislation. This change is subject to adoption to the Law “On State Support to Children’s and Youth Unions”, considered by the Committee.

The Committee members considered this draft law with the first reading. The general provisions of the draft were introduced by the Deputy-Minister of Sports and Youth Issues, Rati BREGADZE. According to the draft, it shall be defined the objective of activity of the youth union. The age-limit was expelled from the law. According to the current legislation, no less than two-third of the members of the union shall be under the age of 26.
The Committee members supported submission of the draft to the plenary session.
