The Committee considered with the third reading the changes to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, according to which, the platform of the single mandate MP bureau shall be approved by the Bureau, instead of the Speaker.
The Committee considered with the third reading the draft by Bidzina Gujabidze on changes to the Rules of Procedure. According to the draft, dress code of the persons in the Hall shall be protocol-business style or national.
The draft by Zurab Tkemaladze envisages possibility of establishment of the Scientific-Consulting Councils at the Committees, which was considered with the third reading.
The draft by Zurab Tkemaladze on change to the law “On Public Service” regulates issues of submission of the narcological-medical test and promotion issues. According to the draft, the person, upon appointing, shall submit the medical-narcological test.
The Committee defined the proportion representative quotes of the Factions in the Interim Investigation Commission. 2 members shall be from National Dream and 2 from the National Movement, one member per other Factions. The total number of members is 12.
The Committee considered with the first reading the draft on “Change to the Law On Broadcasting”. According to the draft, the rule of formation of the Supervisory Board shall be changed and the number of members shall decrease with 9.
The minority and majority members expressed their remarks regarding the draft. The MPs and the author, Eliso Chapidze agreed to reconsider the draft after two weeks.
The Committee supported submission of the drafts to the plenary session.
