The Committee considered with the third reading the draft Constitutional law “On Changes to the Constitution”.
The MPs did not express any editorial remarks and unanimously supported submission of the draft to the plenary session.
Some MPs were absent at the sitting. As the Chair of the Committee, Vakhtang Khmaladze stated, the Rules of Procedure envisages sanctions for absence.
“I will not close my eye on the violations”, - he stated. The Vice-Speaker, Zurab Abashidze echoed this statement and noted that the MPs shall observe the requirements of the Rules of Procedure. He also thanked the staff members for productive work.
