The Prime Minister, Bidzina Ivanishvili and the Foreign Minister, Maia Panjikidze, along with the Parliamentary Delegation Members, Tedo Japaridze and Tina Khidasheli, met with the PACE Secretary General, Wojciech SAWICKI and the representatives of the Monitoring Committee.

As Mrs. Khidasheli stated, along with swift and effective steps in term of fulfillment of liabilities, protection of human rights and enhancement of democratic institutions from Georgia, it is possible to transfer the country to the new stage and continue activity in dialogue format.
The accent was made at human rights and necessity of monitoring on the occupied territories. The Delegation members expressed their hope that CoE will further undertake attempts in Abkhazia and South Ossetia to protect human rights.
