The Prime Minister, Bidzina Ivanishvili and the Minister of Justice, Tea Tsulukiani, along with the Parliamentary Delegation members, Tedo Japaridze, Tina Khidasheli and Eka Beselia, met with CoE High Commissioner of Human Rights, Nils Muižnieks.

The parties spoke about the resonant cases of torture in the prison. The Delegation members provided the Commissioner with the detailed information about investigation. The parties also touched upon the restitution problems in the country and experience of CoE states.
The Georgian Delegation appealed to the Commissioner for enactment of the effective monitoring mechanisms on the occupied territories to protect Georgian citizens.
