The topics of the meeting were social issues, reforms in health sphere and amendments to labor legislation.

As D. Khundadze elucidated, healthcare level increased during the preceding Government but it was unacceptable for 70% of population. “At this stage, the beneficiaries receive the minimal package with state insurance. Since July 1 we plan to include the basic package, implying surgery as well”, - he stated. As he stated, the Parliament works on the Labor Code. According to him, the labor legislation was discomfort and unbalanced during the preceding Government. The new Labor Code regulates the issues of labor contract, term, working hours, over-time remuneration etc.
As it was noted, the social service agency held the survey, on the basis of which it was revealed that increase of the number of persons below the poverty line is connected to the political processes and elections.
The parties also spoke about the demography issues. D. Khundadze provided the UN data, according to which the population of Georgia will decrease with 28% for 2050. “This is the threat for Georgian genetic fund and this balance may be undermined”, - he stated. They also discussed the ways of solution held and D. Khundadze spoke about the particular merit and role of the Catholic-Patriarch of Georgia, Ilia II in this issue.
