The Chair of the Committee On Budget and Finance, David Onoprishvili met with the representatives of the Soft Drinks Bottling Companies on the basis of their own will. The parties spoke about the establishment of special informational marking on soft drinks. The Government decided to set the same regime for soft as for strong drinks. Namely, the informational marking. According to D. Onoprishvili, it will entail additional costs for soft drink bottling companies, which will be reflected on the price. “Special informational marking is important for accurate accounting, and for prevention of counterfeit, though it will increase the prices. We have the information, though we need more arguments”, - he stated and noted that the decision will be made after more information.
