The Committee considered with the first reading the draft by Mariam Sajaia on change to the law on Public Service and unanimously supported submission thereof to the plenary session. According to M. Sajaia, the reason for adoption of the draft is definition of the rule of internship of students in public services. “We will stimulate our students for practical skills”, - she stated. Participation in internship will be possible for the students of authorized universities. The MPs approved the idea and supported the general principles of the draft. Though, the opinion was expressed that the implementation mechanisms are to be précised. According to M. Sajaia, the remarks will be taken into account for the second reading.

The Committee also considered with the first reading the draft on change to the law on Narcotic Means, Psychotropic Agents, Precursors and Narcological Aid. The Committee supported accelerated consideration thereof.
