The Bureau, chaired by David Usupashvili, discussed the daily agenda for the next sessions. Today’s session includes consideration of set up of the Commission on Promulgation and Public Consideration of the drafts on change to the Constitution of Georgia, election of CEC members and accelerated consideration of sundry drafts. The MPs will as well hear the report by the Interim Commission on Audit of Financial-Economic, Legal and Organization Activity, Audit Quality Control and Internal Control Mechanisms of State Audit Service. On the basis of K. Davitashvili, the Bureau decided to change the consideration regime of the draft on change to the law on Narcotic Means, Psychotropic Agents, Precursors and Narcological Aid. The Bureau also discussed new drafts and organizational issues. According to D. Usupashvili, the address of the President on returning the drafts on changes and amendments to the law on Broadcasting, on change to the Election Code, on change to the Organic law on Public Defender with the remarks has been submitted to the Parliament. Thus, the Parliament will convene the extraordinary session. According to the Speaker, the extraordinary session will be convened from July 9. |
