The South Caucasus Young Politicians Forum, held with support by the Embassy of the Netherlands, ended today. The participants of the two-day forum were Armenian, Azeri and Georgian youth, NIMD representative to South Caucasus, Levan Tsutskiridze, the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Zviad Dzidziguri, the Head of EU Representation to Georgia, Phillip Dimitrov and the former President of Serbia, Boris Tadic. The participants discussed the issue “Economic Cooperation: EU and South Caucasus” and spoke about the challenges in terms of economic relations in the region. The time was dedicated to the terms and opportunities, facilitating trade and business partnership between EU and South Caucasus. According to the Program Manager of NIMD to South Caucasus and Moldova, EU is of a great interest for South Caucasus countries. The forum participants discussed the issues, such are European market, trade relations and turnover of capital, also foreign investments and energy security.
