The Steering Commission on Public Consideration of Constitutional Changes continues introduction of the drafts to the regions. The Commission introduced three changes to the local residents in the Democratic Involvement Centre in Rustavi.

The main essence was introduced by the Executive Director of ISFED, Nino Lomjaria. The Chair of the Commission, Zurab Abashidze and the Commission member, Giorgi Kakhiani introduced the opinion by the majority, and Tinatin Bokuchaga and Akaki Bobokhidze - of minority. One part of the local residents left the meeting in protest due to speech by A. Bobokhidze and evaluation by UNM as “moss of democracy of the country”. The population expressed the aggression to the former ruling party members. The Chair of the Commission called upon them to control their emotions and be corrective. The meeting was held in discussion and Q-A format. The Commission will hold the next meeting on July 18 in Gori and Akhaltsikhe and the last meeting will be held on July 25 in Ozurgeti.
