The Parliament will be active till the end of July in extraordinary session regime as it was stated at the Bureau sitting, chaired by the Speaker, David Usupashvili, discussing about the probable daily agenda of the extraordinary sessions of July 24-26. The Bureau made the decision on consideration of new drafts. According to the Bureau decision, the Parliament will consider with the accelerated manner the draft on change to the law on “Enforcement Record”, initiated by 49 MPs and the author is Gedevan Popkhadze. It concerns the issue of enforcement of real estate cases on the basis of loan and/or mortgage. The Bureau considered organizational issues. The Parliament will have to override one more veto by the President. The address of the President has been submitted to the Parliament on remarks on the draft on change to the law on Normative Acts, adopted on June 28. The Parliament will consider this issue next week. The Parliament also plans to hear the Public Defender. the Bureau has received the conclusion by the Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration on the report by the Public Defender “On Situation of Human Rights and Freedom in 2011 in Georgia”. The Bureau endorsed the decisions by the Board of Treasurers, taking the address by Anzor Bolkvadze into account about leaving the Faction National Movement – Majoritarians. The next Bureau sitting will be held on July 22 to precise the list for consideration. The sessions will be probably held on July 29-31. |
