The Ministry of Justice demands to extend the term for employees as acting in the public sector. Thus, the change was developed to the law on Public Service. The Deputy-Minister of Justice, Alexander Baramidze introduced the draft, according to whom, due to some circumstances, the competition failed to be held in some municipal or public instances. So the draft was developed according to the law on Interest Incompatibility and Corruption in Public Service, Article 2, envisaging appointment of acting employee till July 1, 2014 and on other position - till January 1, 2014. The Committee members expressed their opinions. The Chair of the Committee expressed the negative opinion and was the only MP not supporting the draft. The Committee also considered two changes to the Rules of Procedure – concerning the terms of provision of the public information inquired by the MP and concerning membership of MP in at least 1 Committee. The issues were submitted to the session.
