The Speaker, David Usupashvili addressed the Bureau members concerning the Election Code. According to him, the Inter-Faction group has developed lots of interesting changes to be considered at the session, though he noted that MPs express their discontent for the decisions. “Our colleagues state that the agreements in the Inter-Faction group have been violated”, - he stated. According to him, the group has been working for three months according to the plan and the issues for changes have been prepared. “The only issue agreed buy later postponed till the Presidential, was the issue of increase of funding the political parties”, - he stated. He also reminded MPs that in financial terms, not only the separate parties are damaged. “Political parties have not been divided by us into Parliamentary and non-Parliamentary. Let us meet and agree on this issue. I ask you to have accurate and not general information”, - he addressed the group members. The Bureau defined the list of issues for consideration. The plenary session will start at 12h30.
