The Committee considered with the second reading the draft by Koba Davitashvili on change to the law on Drugs and Pharmaceutical Activity. According to the reporter, the draft has been redeveloped after the first reading and the new edition envisages attribution of the preparations of the second group, which are hazard for youth, aggravating the narcological condition to the first group. “This list shall be defined by the ordinance by the Ministry. Violation of trade rules of such products shall be subject to penalty – 6000 GEL for the first time and 12 000 GEL for repeated action. It shall be prohibited to sell the first and second group preparations to juveniles and without receipts. Prohibition shall enter into force from January 1, 2014”, - K. Davitashvili elucidated.
