The Committee considered the drafts by Giorgi Tsagareishvili. The changes shall be adopted to the laws on protection of Ambient Air, Fauna, System of Protected Areas, Environmental Protection, Waste Transit and Import, Greenery within Tbilisi and adjacent areas, Ore, Water, the Red List and the Red Book, also the Forest Code. As he stated, the changes and entailed with the Constitutional law of October 15, 2010 on changes and amendments to the Constitution of Georgia, some norms of which shall enter into force upon oath by the newly elected President. Thus, the changes envisage authority of the President without the Constitutional ground. The changes are mostly technical, envisaging the Prime Minister and the Government as the decision-makers. The Committee supported the draft.
