The MPs considered with the first and the second reading the drafts, subject to enactment upon oath by the newly elected President under the new edition of the Constitution. Koba Davitashvili was interested in inclusion of the draft on termination of the enforcement termination on mortgage property into the daily agenda to which the Speaker elucidated that he also has questions. “I have a question to the initiators of the drafts how actively they work with the Government? I know that some work and some not and only ask the questions. I expect concrete agreed decision from the working for the Parliament to resume working on the draft”, - he stated. The MPs considered with the accelerated manner, with the first reading the drafts: change to the law on Social Protection Guarantees for the Former Political Figures and Their Families; change to the law on Investigative Service at the Ministry of Finance; change to the law on Grants; changes to the Tax Code of Georgia; change to the law on State Audit Service; change to the law on Science, Technologies and Development Thereof; change to the law on Oil and Gas; change to the law on Free Trade and Competition; change to the law on State Support of the Investments; change to the Code of Food Safety and Free Turnover; change to the Aid Code of Georgia; change to the Organic law on Public Defender; change to the law on Motor Roads; change to the law on Electronic Communications; change to the law on State Property; change to the law on Diplomatic Service; change to the law on Consular Activity; change to the law on International Agreements of Georgia. The MPs considered by articles with the second reading the drafts considered with the first reading on September 4. The MPs heard the reports by the Committees on Agrarian Issues, on Education, Science and Culture and on Health Care and Social Issues. The next plenary session will be held tomorrow, on September 6.
