The right of strike or lock-out during the martial law may be restricted with the decree of the President, and with the decree of the President during the state of emergency, which requires counter-assignment by the Prime Minister. This change is to be adopted to the Labor Code and was considered by the Committee. According to Zurab Abashidze, adoption of the draft is entailed with the changes to the Constitution, subject to enactment upon oath by the newly elected President after 2013 Presidential.
