Tedo Japaridze participated in the International Economic Forum, held on September 3-5 in Poland. He delivered the speech at the special sitting along with the experts from Poland, Italy and Russia, concerning Russia-EU relations and prospects of development thereof. He spoke of positive trends in such relations: “The more positive impulse exists in Russia-EU relations, the easier for the Europeans to participate in solving of problems in Georgia. Unfortunately, the negative trends are evident currently”, - he noted. He underlined that Russia can never be the full-fledged partner of Europe unless the Government of Russia establishes the neighboring relations with the post-soviet countries. “There cannot exist one Russia for Europeans – complex but partner and another Russia for post-soviet space – with tough policy”, - he stated.
