The Committee considered with the second reading the changes, which were entailed by the Constitutional changes, subject to enactment upon oath by the newly elected President in 2013. The draft on changes to the Intelligence Service envisages that the coordination of the intelligence service activity is the responsibility of the Prime Minister. The draft on change to the Intelligence Service envisages conveyance of the service under the subordination of the PM. The draft on change to the law on SSPS shall abolish the special protection service of the President, being replaced by the special state protection service. The draft provides the President and the family thereof with permanent personal guard. The draft on change to the law on Trust Group envisages that if the trust group, on the basis of the classified information, supposes that the relevant services of the executive power, or the heads thereof violate the laws, the group shall address to the PM in writing for disclosure of information. The Committee supported submission of the drafts to the session.
