The Committee considered with the second reading the Constitutional draft on change to the Constitution of Georgia, withdrawing the norm, concerning the vote of confidence of the Government to the Parliament due to drafts, initiated by the Government and the adoption of the draft on revision of the Constitution on two sequential sessions. According to the drafts, within 2 months upon the new budgetary year, failure to pass the state budget shall be considered as vote of no confidence. The draft is initiated by 82 MPs. The Committee considered with the third reading the draft on changes to the Criminal Code, aggravating legal responsibility on false notification of terrorism. The changes are subject to enactment after 15 days upon promulgation. The Committee considered with the third reading the draft on change to the Code of Administrative Offense, defining the administrative responsibility for non-purpose call to emergency number 112, also subject to enactment after 15 days upon promulgation. The Committee supported the drafts. |
