The Committee considered with the third reading the draft by Tamaz Avdaliani on change to the Code on Imprisonment, enlarging the circle of the persons, suspension of the statement, appeal or claim to the name of which by the defendant or convict is prohibited to the administration. The circle of the persons shall as well be enlarged, who are entitled to enter the penitentiary without special permit. The administration is prohibited from suspension or inspection of the statement, appeal or claim addressed to the President, the Speaker of the Parliament, the Prime Minister, MP, Court, Human Rights European Court, international organization, Ministry, Department, Public Defender and Prosecutor. The Committee also considered the draft by the Government on change to the law on Struggle Against Terrorism. In accordance with the CoE decision and MONEYVAL recommendations, the terrorist crimes shall be fully criminalized. Taking this fact into account, the changes are to be made to the Criminal Code.
