The report “HIV infection – National Response Against AIDS in Georgia: spread of disease and weaknesses of response” was heard by the Committees on Budget
and Finance an on Health Care and Social Issues. Audit outcomes of efficiency and relevant information were introduced by the State Audit Service Efficiency Audit, Irakli Tsitsilashvili. The parties also considered efficiency audit for 2008-2011 of the agencies, implementing HIV infection state program by LEPL Social Service Agency and Disease Control National Centre, including the Scientific Practical Center for Infection Pathology, AIDS and Clinical Immunology. The meeting was supported by GTZ and aims at information of the Parliament and increase of involvement thereof in these programs.
