For the purpose of identification of a person, all documents containing natural person’s name, family name and personal number shall be considered as an ID document according to the applicable Georgian legislation. This is envisaged by the draft law "On the Rule  of  Georgian Citizens and Foreigners Residing in Georgia and their registration, ID card and Issuance of the Georgian Citizenship Passport”on Introduction of amendments to the Law of Georgia, which was considered at today’s sitting of the Committee on Legal Issues with the first reading.

Special requiem service for the memory of cadets who had fallen in fight for independence of Georgia in 1921 was served in the church of "Annunciation” in the yard of the Parliament of Georgia. Members of the Parliament and Cadet's descendants attended the event. They decorated with wreath the memorial plaque of the cadets.

Levan Vepkhvadze, Deputy Chairman of Parliament and the representatives of non-governmental organizations discussed the necessity of implementation of changes to the Organic Law of Georgia on "Political Unions of Citizens”.

First Caucasian Information Channel TV Company will launch to broadcast the Russian version of the film "Occupation", the joint project of  Temporary Commission on Territorial Integrity Issues and Georgian Public Broadcaster- (GPB), said Shota Malashkhia, the Chairman of the Commission at the Joint sitting of the Temporary Commission on Territorial Integrity and the Committee on Diaspora and Caucasus Issues.
