The Committee considered with the second reading the draft by Zurab Tkemaladze and Gigla Agulashvili on change to the law on Reimbursement of damage and Cost of the Substitution for Agricultural Land, allocated for non-Agricultural Purpose. The draft allows alteration of the purpose for the agricultural lands before December 31, 2014. The Committee supposed submission thereof to the session. The Committee heard the information by the Deputy-Minister of Agriculture, Ilia Kvitaishvili on two projects for support of agricultural sector development: agricultural support project and ENPARD. The first project consists of two components: leasing development of agrarian sector and support to develop small-scale infrastructure in rural area. The project is financed by IFAD with 8 600 000 SDR and the grant amount is 130 000 SDR. European neighborhood program for development of agriculture and village, onset in 2013, has been developed by the EU. The budget constitutes 40 million EURO and the term is 3 years.
