Necklace with Pectoral 25 th -23 th centuries B.C. Ananuri, Kakheti

Casting gold. Consists of separate beads and pectoral. Pectoral (length - 6cm width - 5.4cm) is quite massive, and is adorned with relief, coniferous and open-work ornaments.

It is believed to have belonged to a highly distinguished member of the tribe, probably from the ruling class.


Figure of Lion. 23rd century B.C. Tsnori, Kakheti

Casting gold, decorated with relief ornaments, with imitation of granulation and filigree. Length - 5.2 cm, height - 2.8 cm.

In spite of stylization and small size there is clearly shown the strength of a lion. It is the unique pattern of Early Bronze Era.

Necklace. 5 th century B.C. Vani.

Gold, glassy paste, filigree, granulation, length - 20 cm.

A highly intricate piece, with numerous tortoises adorned with granulation and glass paste for their eyes. All the tortoises except for the large middle one are soldered directly to the golden beads. Extremely detailed and fine workmanship show how advanced the level of craftsmanship had progressed.


 

Clasps. 2 nd - 3 th centuries A.D. Kldeeti, Imereti.

Gold, garnet, glass, granulation. The plates framed with gold granulation are used, with the image of birds. Were used for decoration of belts.

Pair of Ear-rings. 4 th century B.C. Sadzeguri, Akhalgori treasure.

Gold, diameter - 5.2 cm. Wheel shape, soldered outside with small balls. Cliche.


Temple Hangers (pair) 4 th century B.C. Sadzeguri, Akhalgori treasure.

Gold, granulation, filigree, length - 13 cm.

Hangers are completely decorated with granulation. It is considered as the local production.

In 1908 the Akhalgori treasure was discovered by the local population. It is supposed that so called Akhalgori treasure was the part of the sepulcher of nobles.

Neclace with the Perfumery. 2 nd century A.D. Armaziskhevi, Mtskheta.

Gold, amethyst, almaden, turquoise, filigree, granulation. Consists of three parts - thick wicker-work chain, amulet box of circular shape with the relief image of amethyst ram head and a perfume item. The box for necklace and perfumery item are decorated with the almandine and turquoise stones.

The sepulcher discovered in Armaziskhevi belongs to the highest aristocracy of Iberia (Kartli) - The Pitiakhsh Eristavi.


Ear-rings. 5 th - 4 th centuries B.C. Vani.

Gold, filigree, granulation. Length - 13 cm. Adorned with roses of granulation pyramidal laying.

Golden Cup.19 th -18 th centuries B.C. Tsalka, Trialeti.

Gold, sardonic, lapis lazuri, red jasper, agate, amber, glassy pasted filigree, granulation. Height -7 cm, edge diameter -7.7 cm.

The cup made of one sheet of gold has double wall and hollow leg. Belongs the marvelous culture of Trialeti big tumulus discovered by B. Kuflin. the cup is unique, has no analogies.


Hooks 2 nd century A.D. Armaziskhevi, Mtskheta.

Gold, turquoise, almaden, granulation. Encircled with the damascened wire. The free area is completely filled with thick granulation. The cemetery encountered in Armaziskhevi belongs to the higest aristocracy of Iberia (Kartli) - The Pitiakhsh Eristavi.

Pair of Bracelets. 5 th - 4 th centuries B.C. Vani.

Gold indot, with the images of the heads of aurochses. Additionally processed with engraving. Diameter - 9.9 cm.


Brooches. 3 rd - 4 th centuries A.D. Ureki, Supsa.

Gold, agate, garnet, glassy paste. Dimention - 7.4 cm.

It should be mentioned the thrichomaticity of agate. Colored glass and garnet stones inserted into openwork housing of the end of the chain are used.

Gold, sardonic, framed striped agate pendant, with thin plate beads of spherical shape. Length -18 cm. Granulation, filigree. Belongs to the marvelous culture of Trialeti big tumulus discovered by B. Kuflin.


Shining Ear-rings. 5 th - 4 th centuries B.C. Vani.

Gold, filigree, granulation. Length - 8.1 cm, width - 7.6 cm.Traced out with the figures of the birds and rosary.
