Alexander Tabatadze, the Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Armenia, H.E. Mr. Ashot Smbatyan.

The parties reviewed the security issues in Georgia and Armenia and in the South Caucasus region.

Alexander Tabatadze introduced the specification of the Committee activity and dwelt on the parliamentary and oversight control mechanisms.

The discourse included the prospects of the bilateral working visits for the enhancement of the cooperation between the respective Committees of the two Parliaments.
