The Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee deliberated on the Draft Law on Education Quality Enhancement

The Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee deliberated on the Draft Law on Education Quality Enhancement for the II reading, introduced by Zviad Gabisonia, the Deputy Education, Science and Youth Minister.
As per the reporter, the educational institutions, in case of the expiration of the authorization of the educational institutions and the higher education program accreditation, submitting the authorization/accreditation application within the term established under the authorization and accreditation provisions, shall enjoy the extended authorization/accreditation operation till the adoption of the final decision.
According to him, the educational institution shall be recognized as authorized, and the higher educational program accredited, for a term of 180 calendar days upon the expiration of the authorization/accreditation term.
The Committee approved the Draft Law.
