Giorgi Amilakhvari, Chairman of the Education and Science Committee, met with Stefano Ubertini, Rector of Tuscia University.

At the introductory meeting, the parties discussed future plans and expanding cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of expanding the relationship between the Italian University and Georgian universities in various directions and implementing joint projects.

"We discussed the cooperation of Tuscia University with Georgian higher education institutions. They are willing to introduce joint and double degree programs in Georgia. As part of the internationalization of higher education, we discussed how we can support them to establish themselves more actively in the educational space of Georgia", - Giorgi Amilakhvari noted.

The meeting was also attended by the member of the Committee, David Zilfimiani.
