The Legal Issues Committee discussed and approved the Draft Criminal Code for the I reading.

The Draft envisages that Article 222 of the Code (seizure of blockage of a broadcasting or communications organization or of a facility of strategic or special importance) and Article 330 (taking possession of or blocking strategic or other facilities of special importance for terrorist purposes) shall be supplemented with a remark, according to which, for the purpose of aforementioned Articles, the list of the strategic and/or special importance facilities shall be determined under the Governmental Resolution.

The Draft was authored by the Office of the National Security Council, and initiated by the Government of Georgia.
