Mamuka Mdinaradze: We must resist the propaganda promoting non-traditional ways of life

Mamuka Mdinaradze: We must resist the propaganda promoting non-traditional ways of life

"Tolerance and the protection of human rights are not novel concepts for us Georgians, but we must resist the propaganda promoting non-traditional ways of life. Everyone has the right to live as they choose, yet at the same time, we must refrain from propagating these alternative, non-traditional lifestyles", - the leader of the parliamentary majority, Mamuka Mdinaradze stated.

Mamuka Mdinaradze emphasized the importance of safeguarding human rights and stressed the need to protect the rights of every individual.

"It is a straightforward principle: on one hand, we must safeguard rights, and on the other hand, we must shield our children and future generations from harmful pseudo-liberal propaganda”, - Mamuka Mdinaradze noted.

According to him, it is true that there are many other challenges in the country, but in the modern era, the promotion of non-traditional lifestyle has become one of the problems.

"There are emerging challenges that require immediate attention; otherwise, finding solutions may become increasingly difficult. In Georgia today, children are exposed to animated films that convey the central message that happiness is unattainable unless one adopts a certain lifestyle, which is concerning. Currently, we do not have a constitutional majority, so we will need the support of our more radical opponents, or alternatively, we will seek to secure a constitutional majority in the elections. This will enable us to enact necessary changes concerning national issues”, - Mamuka Mdinaradze stated.
