The Faction “Independent Members of Parliament” held the introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Enrico Valvo.

“The meeting was very interesting. The Ambassador has assumed office 2 months ago and hence, it was interesting to meet with the newly appointed Ambassador. We introduced the priorities of our Faction, including the legislative initiatives and the Parliamentary oversight direction. We touched upon the ongoing political processes, electoral dialogue etc. The Ambassador underlined importance of de-polarization in relation to the electoral system and achievement of consensus in current Georgian politics”, - Mariam Jashi noted.
