MP Mariam Jashi participated in the action “White Coats” supporting Vazha Gaprindashvili. The action was held in Simon Khechinashvili University Clinic.

“Being a doctor, I join my colleagues in request to release Vazha Gaprindashvili. It is universally recognized that the doctors and journalists – these are the two professions representatives of which shall be inviolable as upon hostilities so in any crisis situation. Today, Ketevan Tsikhelashvili made the statement giving us hope about possible release of Vazha Gaprindashvili, which makes me optimistic”, - she noted.

According to her, one of the organizers of the action, Nino Okribelashvili and the International Medical Trade Associations develops the address requiring release of Vazha Gaprindashvili.

“I think, it is the time when the professionals can be unified beyond politics and ensure release of Vazha Gaprindashvili as soon as possible”, - M. Jashi noted.
