The Trust Group heard the Head of the Georgian Intelligence Service, Shalva Lomidze and the representatives of the Service, reporting on the activities of the agency.

The members of the Group evaluated the activity of the Service and talked about its importance.

"In terms of cooperation between the Parliament of Georgia and the Intelligence Service, 2021 was a remarkable year. We have held a number of meetings and hearings within our Defense and Security Committee as well as within the Trust Group. An oversight visit was also carried out at the agency and it is necessary to emphasize that in terms of our country's national security, the work of the intelligence service and the merits of our worthy spies and professionals deserve high commendation”, - Irakli Beraia, Head of the Trust Group, stated.
