Kakha Okrojanashvili, the Secretary General of the Georgian Parliament, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Armenia, H.E. Mr. Ashot Smbatyan.

The parties reviewed the prospects of the links between the staffs of the two legislative bodies and emphasised the significance of exchange programs for the staffers.

As noted, the bilateral visits of the staff members to exchange experiences and best practices will enhance the cooperation of the secretariats of the Parliaments of Georgia and Armenia, thereby increasing their interest and productivity.

According to the Secretary General of the Georgian Parliament, several directions regarding cooperation were highlighted during the meeting. These matters will be further discussed during the visit of the delegation of the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament to Georgia. The Speaker of the Armenian Parliament will be accompanied by the Secretary General of the Armenian Parliament.
