The extraordinary plenary sessions convened on July 1-2

This week, the Parliament convenes the extraordinary plenary sessions.
According to the Speaker of the Parliament, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, he has addressed the President of Georgia with an appeal on the convocation of the extraordinary session.
“As per the Decree of the President of Georgia, and in accordance with the second paragraph of Article 44 of the Constitution of Georgia, the extraordinary session of the Parliament shall be convened at 12:00 hours on July 1, 2025”, - he announced.
Hence, the extraordinary plenary sessions are scheduled for July 1-2.
The plenary agenda includes the Bill on Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors, and Narcological Assistance, submitted for expedited consideration; the Draft Organic Law on Common Courts; the Draft Criminal Code, as well as the Bill on Legal Status of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons; the Draft Administrative Offenses Code; and the Bill on Ambient Air Protection.
