MP Tamar Charkviani held a meeting with the Head of the NATO Liaison Office, Alexander Vinnikov to discuss the Russian military aggression in Ukraine and the security of Georgia and Europe against the hereof challenges.

The parties dwelt on the imprisonment of the third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, and his legal and health state.

“The meeting was very interesting and important with our key partner. We discussed the threats for Georgia to have a neighbor uninterruptedly oppressing every country around. I mean Putin and Russia. Naturally, we touched upon Mikheil Saakashvili and I introduced my position that his health state shall not serve the basis for a new escalation since it will prejudice the country”, - T. Charkviani stated.

The meeting was attended by the Political Officer of the NATO Liaison Office, Gvantsa Loladze.
